Will I be able to select my own styles and cabinets?

Of course. We have a large selection of styles from Contemporary to Traditional. This also includes cabinet selections in a wide variety of finishes and door styles.

We use only the finest Dunn Edwards paint finishes and have thousands of colors to choose from.

Yes. Our tile, solid surface countertops and natural stone countertops come in a variety of styles and colors. Our accent liners and decorative trims add a custom touch to every bath we build.

Am I limited in choice of bathroom fixtures/lighting fixtures?

We have chosen the most popular and highest quality fixtures from hundreds of well known manufacturers like Kohler, Moen, Grohe and Toto. We’re certain that our variety will meet your needs.

Will I work with a designer?

Yes…The One Week Bath processes are managed by experts in every area; from start to finish.   Our Bath Design Specialists will come to your home and work side by side with you to assist you in creating your dream bathroom. You can sit back and relax or get involved. It’s YOUR bath!

We only use the highest quality product which is why we are able to guarantee our projects. Additionally, we want you to be able to enjoy your dream bathroom without any warrantee issues.

We have two Senior bath options as well as many design selections that take changing needs into consideration.  The first Senior specific bathroom is our economy model that includes a specially designed tub/shower area complete with grab bars, a seat and other safety features. The Platinum model consists of the Premier Walk-In Tub system which is fantastic. You should be able to tell from the names that there is a price point difference.

Safety:   One Week Bath doesn’t use sub-contractors.  Our customers don’t need to have security concerns and be terrified about various individuals coming in and out of their home for weeks on end.  Because all of our workers are background checked, trained in our facilities and certified employees, our clients feel more secure and comfortable seeing the same qualified team on Monday as they do on Friday.

4. Expert Service:  We only build bathrooms.  You wouldn’t go to a heart doctor to get your appendix out. Why would you choose a contractor that doesn’t specialize?  Our installers are intensively trained by us to specifically build bathrooms.  That translates into our work being efficient and of the highest possible quality.

How much will the job cost?

This will depend on a variety of factors such as size of bathroom, complexity of layout and choice of products. Our bathrooms can start as low as $14,999. Our powder room remodels can even be priced lower than this.

Where can I see some of the prior work?

If you browse the photo gallery on our website, you can see a small sampling of the hundreds of dream bathrooms we’ve completed.  Of course, with over 500 bathrooms built, we can’t post them all. In addition, your Bath Design Specialist will bring portfolio books of completed projects when they come out to visit you in your home.

How do I make arrangements?

Can I arrange a payment schedule?

Yes. If you would prefer to put a small amount down, we can finance the rest as low as the cost of a latte a day!

Is there a guarantee on the work?

Yes. All of our work carries a 1 year warranty. We’ll be happy to explain the details in our conversation with you.

Is money held in escrow until the job is completed and signed off?

We typically require a deposit to order materials and book your start date but we don’t require full payment until the project is 100% complete.

What happens if the job is not done in one week?

We pay you!!! Yep, it’s in our contract. We are so sure that we can meet our commitment that we will pay you $200 per day for every day we are late.

Will I know exactly what I will be getting once I make a commitment?

Of course. The more informed you are, the better we can be at providing great service.  And, we really want you to love everything you’ve chosen.  To help you understand exactly what you are getting, our Bath Design Specialist will print out your entire order complete with pictures.  You will then sign off, one-by-one on every component of your bathroom.   As a double check, our Technical Sales Rep will contact you shortly thereafter to review the selections with you once again.

Do I have to vacate the house while the job is being done?

Absolutely not. We are fast, clean and respectful of you and your home.  Our crews straighten up each and every night after the construction day has ended to ensure minimum disruption to you, your family, children, pets and your home.

Are all of the plumbers and workers licensed and bonded?

We are a licensed General Contractor and carry a surety bond. All of our workers are trained and certified by us in our One Week Bath University.

Who will actually be doing the job. How many workers?

Our crew typically consists of three individuals; a Project Manager who is skilled at many of the key trades, a Tile Specialist and an Assistant. You will see the same individuals on Monday as you do on Friday which allows us to create a consistent result for you.

Yes. All of the supplies and products for your bathroom remodel are received in our warehouse. Each and every product is checked to be certain it is correct and not damaged. All products are loaded into our “pod” and delivered to your home before a hammer hits the wall. Our team opens the magic box and your bath begins to take shape in a matter of hours.

How can you remodel my bathroom in just one week?

Our Installers are trained to specifically remodel bathrooms. Our system and training program insure a consistent, high quality one week result.

How long have you been in business?

One Week Bath was founded in 1999.  CEO and Founder Matt Plaskoff has been building high end celebrity homes for over twenty years.  Matt was also the lead consultant on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He remains active in the operations of One Week Bath. We’ve built hundreds and hundreds of One Week Baths!

Can OWB provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. We’d be happy to provide this for you.

During the remodeling process, is it necessary for someone to be home at all times?

Not at all.  Our installers are background checked and drug tested. They are so trusted that even one of our clients, a twenty year veteran of the LAPD,  said he would hand over his keys to our crew and leave his home for the entire week without a thought!

I have already purchased all of my fixtures and hardware; can OWB just install everything for me?

No. Unfortunately that is not how our business model works. Because we guarantee everything we do, we need to procure the products and personally verify the quality and completeness in our warehouse. While most contractors expect you to buy the right products, choose colors that match, order fittings that work together and to verify that they are all correct and delivered to the site, we want to take care of these challenges for you.

We have over 5000 items to choose from, and we’re certain you will be able to find things you’ll love.  So, we’d really like to work with you at One Week Bath. If you’re able to return your products, please call us!

Does OWB charge per hour for labor?

No, all costs for the total remodel is included in the final contract price.

I have more then one bathroom, do I get a discount? Can you remodel them both in one week?

Absolutely! Ask your design specialist about our multi-bath discounts. Typically we can remodel two bathrooms in one week, however some restrictions may apply.

Once construction begins, will the plumbing work in the house/bathroom?

No worries:  The plumbing will work everywhere except in the bathroom that is being remodeled.

Can I choose any brand of fixtures that I want?

We ask that you choose from our product line to ensure high quality and that your warranty remain intact. OWB carries only high-quality name brands such as Kohler, Toto, Moen, American Standard, Strasser, etc. We also have a wonderful variety of ceramic tiles and solid surface counter tops from manufacturers like Dal Tile, Corastone and Corian, as well as everything else you might need.

Can I keep my brand new (shower, sink, tile, floor) and just remodel around it? Will One Week Bath just do a vanity or floor or a shower?

We do consider “partial” remodels.  Our Bath Design Specialist can better assist you with this question as each scenario is unique.

If you claim you can remodel my bathroom in one week, why do I have to wait several weeks before the remodel begins?

After the consultation, the Bath Design Specialist will submit the contract. Ordering, planning, checking and double checking of products, procurement of the permits and planning takes place before we set foot in your home to construct your actual remodel. This proper planning insures that we can complete your bath in just one week.

When the job begins, what time does construction start and end? Do you work on the weekends?

The installers will arrive Monday morning between 8am and 10am. Typically, our lead installer will discuss the weekly schedule with you to be certain you are comfortable with our timing. Occasionally, we will work on the weekends if it is necessary.

Does OWB dispose of the debris and old fixtures?

Absolutely, when we are done all you are left with is the bathroom of your dreams…... AND we recycle 77% of all materials that come out of your old dingy bath.

Does OWB guarantee their work? What if I am not happy with the results?

Absolutely, all work is guaranteed. OWB has a Customer Service Specialist that will follow up with you to make sure that all your needs have been met and you are completely satisfied with your bathroom, and our service.

Can I make changes during and after the remodel?

Unfortunately, making changes during the remodel wouldn’t allow us to guarantee that we could finish your bath on time. Our Bath Design Specialist will go through all of your choices and options at the consultation to insure that you are happy with your decisions. This specialized and streamlined process minimizes the need (and the desire) for any changes.  Remember, we want you to be thrilled with your bathroom. We do everything in our power, ahead of time, to make that happen.

Can OWB add additional bathrooms to my home?

Unfortunately, One Week Bath doesn’t build room additions. If that will be necessary, we suggest that you undertake that project prior to starting on your remodel.  Because it takes several weeks for us to procure all the products for your bathroom, these time frames can be worked out perfectly.  In other words, you can get your construction done while we are permitting your bathroom, gathering products and performing quality control on the materials needed for your bathroom.

Does OWB pull all the necessary permits for remodeling?

Yes. One Week Bath will do everything. Making this a convenient and simple process is part of our mission.

I live in a condo and the bathroom wall is shared with my neighbor, is that okay?

Due to the complexities of multi-family housing, One Week Bath cannot do any projects in condos that share water sources, or common walls. Perhaps in the future we will be able to do this but not at this time.

Do you do repiping?

No.  We tie in to existing plumbing only and use the highest quality new copper piping.

Can you move a toilet, sink or tub around?

Yes. We do move minor plumbing to facilitate your remodel.

Do I sacrifice quality for speed?

Great question! No! “High quality does not have to take forever!™” We are so sure that our quality is fantastic that we trademarked that phrase and offer a one year warranty on all that we do.  As bathroom remodeling specialists, quality and customer satisfaction are our number one priorities.

Do I have to design the bathroom myself?

Of course not! Our Design Consultant will work with you in your home to design your dream bathroom. It’s what they do the best!

What is included in a complete bathroom remodel?

We gut the entire bathroom and install everything brand-new.  This includes fixtures, fittings, tile, counters, cabinets, mirrors, lighting and all of the other elements that will make your bathroom the most beautiful room in your home.

Does OWB do Jacuzzi Tubs?

We carry a limited amount of Spa type tubs. Our Bath Design Specialist can tell you about all about them.

Do you repair water damage?

If you have a small amount of water damage, typically our installation crew can deal with this. Of course this will depend on the severity of the water damage. Our Bath Design Specialist can explain more about that at your consultation.

Can you add a vent fan to my bathroom if I don’t have one?

We will generally tie into your existing venting and will be happy to replace one if it already exists. If a new vent needs to be added, your Design Specialist can help you understand what may be involved in making that happen.

Can OWB move a wall to extend my bathroom?

Yes, but only if the wall is a non-bearing or non-structural.  Our Design Specialist can give you more details on how this works.
